Human Interface Lab

Establish Purpose: to train outstanding managers of electronic product development and to challenge high paid 

In order to improve the interface of keyboard or button input-based communication between man and machine, the purpose for the laboratory is to develop the digital imaging or voiced signal as advanced man-machine interface. In addition to training students with ability of implementing the proposed algorithm, we also train students to implement the algorithm with hardware. So the students will be able to have the technologies in this field, and also have better competitiveness. 


Features: guiding students with R & D head of the high-tech 

Because of the personal wide field of research and some network resources of industry and academic, in addition to doing more research themes, the more topics can be done in a work plan, chips, or products. We train students to obtain the technologies in imaging and voice signal processing, multimedia streaming, and networking. Therefore, students know how to combine software and hardware, and the actual operation of the audio or video processing in hardware.

Research Topics: 

recognition of road condition for driving-view image, face detection, gesture imaging recognition, fast speech recognition algorithms, JPEG image data compression, image partitioning algorithms, carry lookahead adder, the cumulative density curve equation, multimedia application development issues of portable devices, motion detection problems, computer game effects drawing skills, a few co-graphics the image recognition, research reduction codes
